Planet Solar :The World's Largest Solar Powered Boat

I would like to share this information, to show that how the technology is drastically moving towards Peaks.

MS Tûranor PlanetSolar also known with the project name "PlanetSolar" is the world's largest Solar Powered boat. Even though there are many other boats which are made with solar panels but it is the largest among them.

Another Specialty of this largest boat is.. It is the first solar powered boat which Circumnavigate(circled) around the world. It took 584 days to cover the whole world and planetsolar also ensures that it is the first electric vehicle to campaign whole world.

Coming towards Technical aspects it is lined with 500 square meters of solar panels rated 93 kW and having two electric motors attached. The Boat PlanetSolar moves 15 miles per hour but by taking the help of other renewable sources like wind it could move even more faster.

The panels can also soak up enough stored energy to power the boat in cloudy weather for three whole days. The excess energy is stored in a giant lithium-ion battery. The cost of boat is around $26 million.

Advantages will be Pollution free and no extra costs for fuel whereas disadvantages will be the requirements which are used to build the boat are highly expensive.

Thus by using Solar panels in the deck it eliminates the usage of fuel and gas which also helps to make pollution free environment.I hope you people enjoyed this article for more interesting topics refer to our blog Learn-Share-Enjoy..:)

IPHONE 5 : Review

Apple just announced its next-generation smartphone, the iPhone 5.

In short, there are no surprises. The iPhone 5 looks exactly like the numerous leaks and reports we've seen over the last few months. The taller screen also has touch sensors built in, meaning it will be more responsive.

It will also have a 4G LTE connection, meaning your data speeds will be about as fast as your cable and DSL modem.
The iPhone 5 will cost $199, $299, and $399 for the 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB models, respectively. Pre-orders begin Sept 14. It will be in stores on Sept 21.

The past few iPhone models each had their own unique feature. The iPhone 3G had 3G data speeds. The iPhone 3GS had video recording and Voice Control. The iPhone 4 had a front-facing camera and a Retina Display. And the iPhone 4S had Siri.

Here's the full list of specs and features that Apple has announced:
  • Glass and aluminum design, just like the iPhone 4 and 4S.
  • 7.6mm thin, and weighs 112 grams. Apple claims the iPhone 5 is the world's thinnest smartphone.

  • The display is slightly taller than the iPhone 4S screen.

  • It has a 1135 X 640 pixel resolution and a 16:9 screen ratio.
  • That ratio will make it better for watching widescreen movies.
  • Apple's apps like Mail, Keynote, Garage Band, etc. have been updated to fit the new screen size.
  • But older third-party apps that haven't been updated to the new screen size will have black bars on either end. Developers will need to update their apps quickly.
  • Touch sensors are integrated into the screen, meaning you'll get more accurate touch response.
  • Will connect to the fastest wireless networks, including LTE.
  • Will run on Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon in the U.S.
  • Wi-Fi chip runs at 5 GHz, allowing for faster, more reliable connections to Wi-Fi networks.
  • New A6 processor, which is twice as fast as the chip in the iPhone 4S,This also means gaming graphics are going to look amazing.
  • New Game Center called "time shifted" lets you play games against people at different times. For example, if you're playing a racing game, you can race now, and your friend can compete against your time later.
  • Better battery life than the iPhone 4S.You get 8 hours of 3G talk time.8 hours LTE web browsing.
  • New iSight camera that's 25% smaller than before. It's an 8 MP camera, the same number of MP as the iPhone 4S camera. The iPhone 5 camera will work better in low light and takes photos 40% faster than the iPhone 4S.There's also a panoramic mode.
  • Camera records 1080p HD video, has face detection, and you can take photos while recording video.
  • The front-facing FaceTime camera takes 720p HD video.

  • There's a noise-canceling earpiece and advanced microphones for better audio calls.
  • New dock connectors called Lightning. It's smaller, meaning you'll need an adapter to use older iPhone accessories.
  • Comes in black and white.

History & Working of BLUETOOTH

Hello Friends...............I would like to share the History and working of BLUETOOTH..Its a software which is used in almost all the mobiles to share Information/Data within a Limited area...

History :

The word was borrowed from the 10th century, second King of Denmark, King Harald Bluetooth.
Transmission over Short Distances
The Bluetooth RF transceiver lies at the physical layer. There are 79 Bluetooth channels spaced 1MHz apart. A spread spectrum technology is used at the physical layer. Both voice and data transmissions over short distances are possible, creating wireless PANs.

Working :

Instructions to Communicate
A Bluetooth device consists of an adapter. A Bluetooth adapter can be built into a device or can be in the form of a card that connects to a device. Instructions are embedded into the device, which enable it to communicate with other devices.

Packet Segmentation and Reassembly
When devices come in each other's radio range, their link managers discover each other. Link management protocol (LMP) engages itself in peer-to-peer message exchange. LMP layer performs link setup and negotiation of packet size. Segmentation and reassembly of packets is done, if needed.

Connection Sets Up
The service delivery protocol enables a Bluetooth device to join a piconet. A device inquires what services are available with the piconet. Bluetooth GlobalID (a unique identification for each device in the network) is exchanged between the devices. Their profiles are matched and a connection is set up.

Signal Transfer
Bluetooth uses frequency hopping in time slots, which means that the Bluetooth signals avoid interference with other signals by hopping to a new frequency after transmission or reception of every packet. One packet can cover up to five time slots. Bluetooth can support an asynchronous data channel, or up to 3 simultaneous synchronous voice channels, or a channel, which concurrently supports asynchronous data and synchronous voice.

Master Slave
Bluetooth technology makes use of the concept of a master and slave. Devices have to wait until the master allows them to talk! One master and up to seven slaves employ a star topology to form a piconet and begin to communicate with one another.

It is the process how Bluetooth works.Stay Updated to our Blog For more Interesting and Useful Information.
